BooDooLearn

Week by week

  1. Step 1

    Week 1

    AI basics and safety

What an AI is and is not, how to ask it for what you mean, and how to tell when it is wrong.

    They make: A prompt diary

    • Writing a clear request
    • Spotting bias and made-up answers
    • Being honest about what the AI did
    • What never to share with any AI
  2. Step 2

    Weeks 2–3

    Design with AI

Choosing colour, type and layout on purpose, then directing an AI until the design says what you meant.

They make: A logo, a poster and a social post for a cause

    • Colour and contrast
    • Type that reads
    • Layout and hierarchy
    • A brand in one page
  3. Step 3

    Weeks 4–5

    Animated story with AI

Telling a story in scenes: a script, a storyboard, and timing that lets a viewer keep up.

They make: A 30 to 60 second animated explainer, saved as a video

    • Writing a short script
    • Storyboarding scenes
    • Timing and pacing
    • Voice and captions
  4. Step 4

    Weeks 6–7

    Website with AI

A real website at its own address, with pages, navigation and the poster and story they already made.

They make: A portfolio website showing their earlier work

    • Planning pages
    • Navigation that makes sense
    • Writing for a reader
    • Publishing to the web
  5. Step 5

    Week 8

    Elective

    Game with AI

Rules, scoring and a reason to play again, built as a game that teaches something real.

They make: A small educational game

    • Rules and a goal
    • Scoring and feedback
    • Testing with a friend

A student who would rather spend this week on their Seva Project can.

  6. Step 6

    Weeks 9–12

    The Seva Project

Observe a real problem near home, check that people have it, plan it, build it, put it in front of them and launch it.

They make: A launched web or phone app that solves a problem in their community

    • Finding and checking a real problem
    • Writing a one-page plan
    • Drawing screens before building
    • Testing with real people
    • Presenting to parents and teachers

Weeks 9–12, the Seva Project, run the same ten stages as our schools programme:

    1. 1Finding a problem
    2. 2Validating it
    3. 3Writing the product plan
    4. 4Designing the flow
    5. 5Building the prototype
    6. 6Iterating
    7. 7Connecting the backend
    8. 8Launching
    9. 9Store submission

How live classes and the AI mentor work

The mentor is an AI system. It builds what your child describes and explains each step, and it can be confidently wrong — which is why every stage ends with a person looking at the work.

Safety and your permission

  • A parent says yes first

We write to the parent, never the child. Nothing starts until a parent has read the permission and agreed, as India's DPDP Act asks.

  • First names only

We keep a first name and a class. Never a surname, never a phone number, never a photo of your child.

  • Private until they choose

Their work is theirs. Nobody outside the class sees it unless your child decides to share it.

  • For ages 13 and over

Classes 9 to 12. We refuse anyone younger, and the refusal is built into how enrolments are stored.

  • No ads, no ad trackers

Your child never sees an advert in BooDoo, and advertising trackers are kept off every page made for them.

Questions parents ask

Who is it for?

Students in classes 9 to 12, aged 13 and over. No experience with code or design is needed — the course starts from what AI is.

What device do they need?

A laptop or a computer in the school lab, with a browser and an internet connection. Nothing to install.

Is it in Hindi or English?

Both. Live classes are taught in English and Hindi, and your child can talk to the AI mentor in either, or in a mix of the two.

What do parents see?

You give permission before anything starts, and you can see what your child has made. Their portfolio is private until they choose to share it.

What does my child get at the end?

A portfolio of everything they made, a launched app for their Seva Project, and a record of completion listing each stage a mentor signed off.

Is an AI doing the work for them?

An AI does the building, the way a calculator does the arithmetic. Your child decides what to make, explains it clearly, checks it with real people and fixes what is wrong — that is the skill the course teaches.

What does it cost?

A member of our team will confirm the batch and the fee with you before anything is due. Schools can run it for a whole class; see the page for schools.

Enrol your child

Tell us who is joining. We will email you a permission form; once you have said yes, a member of our team confirms the batch, the class timings and the fee with you. Nothing is charged on this page.

  1. 1You fill this in
  2. 2You get a permission email and say yes
  3. 3We confirm the batch and fee
  4. 4Your child joins the first live class

The course is for students aged 13 and over.

We keep your child’s first name, date of birth and class, and nothing else about them. Sending this does not charge you anything: we email you a permission form, and a person confirms the batch and the fee. Your child will build with an AI system, which can be confidently wrong — learning to check it is part of the course.
