BooDoo
Changelog

5–11 October 2026

Builds now show their real outcome, customers can pay from anywhere, and your app displays correctly.

  1. New

New guides: clinic booking in Vietnamese, gym apps in Thai, invoicing in Filipino

We published three new guides: booking apps for clinics in Vietnamese, gym membership and check-in apps in Thai, and invoicing apps for small businesses in Filipino. Each links a working example you can try.

  2. Fixed

Phone apps abroad now get a working one-time payment

Some older phone app builds were sending buyers outside India into a recurring card charge that almost never worked. Those buyers are now charged once for the month instead, the same working payment method newer builds already use.

  3. Fixed

Dish photo checks no longer let black or blank images pass

If a photo for your food or restaurant app was mostly black, blank, blurred or an abstract texture, our check could still accept it as a real dish photo. It now correctly rejects these, unless you asked for a plain or textured background.

  4. Fixed

Changes to your store-bought app now get fixed, not rebuilt

Earlier, asking for a change to an app you bought from the ready-made store could cause it to be thrown away and rebuilt from scratch instead of being adjusted. Requested changes, such as adding a settings screen or fixing a sign-in issue, are now applied directly to your app.

  5. Fixed

Store cards on your phone now show your app's own phone picture

Browsing the app store on a phone used to show every app's laptop screenshot squeezed into phone shape, too small to read. Cards now show each app's actual phone picture, described correctly for screen readers too, so you can see what the app looks like before you open it.

  6. Fixed

In-app payments on your phone no longer stop before you pay

On some phones, trying to pay inside the app used to stop a few seconds after the payment screen opened, before the payment was even attempted. This happened to both rupee and other currency payments. It is now fixed so the payment screen works properly.

  7. Fixed

The store's Buy it button is now as clear as Try it live

On a ready-made app's page, the Buy it button used to look smaller and lighter than Try it live beside it, and sat below easy-tap size on a laptop. It now matches in height and weight, whether you're signed in or not.

  8. Fixed

A working phone app from your first build is no longer marked failed

If your first build created a real phone app but its website was still our starting page, the whole build used to be marked as failed, even though your phone app worked. It now finishes successfully, and we ask for your website content next.

  9. Fixed

Builds no longer stop early over brief connection hiccups

If your app's build briefly lost touch with our system, it used to get wrongly marked as stopped or failed. It now waits quietly for things to reconnect, and a build that comes back online keeps its full time to finish properly.

  1. New

Web workspace now shows how many changes your credits will buy

The website now shows a calm line above the message box when credits are getting low, telling you about how many more small changes they'll cover, with a Top up link, matching what the phone app already shows.

  2. New

New guides published in more languages

We added guides on clinic and practice appointment booking in French, Turkish and Dutch, a real estate CRM in Spanish, French and Arabic, invoicing in Hindi, coaching class management in Turkish, and gym membership tracking in Arabic. Each links a live example you can try.

  3. Improved

Launch page shows finished apps sooner on laptop and phone

On a laptop, the Launch page now shows a finished app in a phone frame right beside the headline. On a phone, example apps now appear straight after the button instead of after scrolling past the whole list, and the page loads just as fast since phones no longer fetch the laptop-only picture.

  4. Fixed

boodoo.ai/store now takes you to the app store

Typing boodoo.ai/store used to show a page-not-found error. It now sends you straight to the app store, and keeps any tracking link details intact along the way, so a shared or emailed /store link still shows where you came from.

  1. New

New guide: a booking page to cut WhatsApp message costs

We published a guide showing how a booking or order page can answer customers directly, cutting down on paid WhatsApp replies, a real cost many small businesses are facing now.

  1. Fixed

Your app now matches the words you typed, even with a document

Before, an app you described could come out as a different app when you also attached a document. Now it is built from the words you typed, even with a document attached.

  2. Fixed

A first build stuck on the placeholder page is now marked failed

Your first build could finish with our 'Your app is being written' page still showing, and be marked as a success with nothing in it. Now that case is reported as a failed build, so you can see it straight away.

  3. Fixed

Finished first builds no longer wrongly marked as failed

If your first build finished successfully but we were still wrapping it up with checks and a screenshot, it could wrongly be marked as failed a few minutes later. A successful build now stays marked as successful.

  4. Fixed

Pricing plans now line up and show without scrolling on laptop

On a laptop, the pricing page used to show the plans shifted to one side, below an empty column, so you had to scroll to see them. They now line up properly and appear in the first screen, with a 'Compare plans' label above the feature list.

  5. Fixed

Play purchase checks no longer wrongly mark payment as refused

If confirming a monthly Play purchase hit a hiccup, it could be wrongly treated as refused even though you had paid. These checks are now retried instead of being dropped or marked as refused.

95 other changes — 53 to how apps are built, 19 to the machines it runs on, 11 to the public site, 12 elsewhere. Nothing you would see.
