28 September – 4 October 2026
This week, payments work everywhere, you can buy store apps, and BooDoo Launch lets our team build your app for you.
- Fixed
A question cut off by a sign-in lapse is asked again
If your sign-in ran out while BooDoo was answering a question, you were told we would pick it up again, but nothing happened. Now the question is asked again on its own, so you don't need to send it a second time.
- New
New guides on building a booking app without coding
Three new guides explain how to build an app for your business without writing code. One is for barbershop owners, in Portuguese, and one is for salon owners, in Arabic. The third, in Spanish, is for small business owners comparing app builders: it describes Lovable, another tool for building apps, and says which tool suits which owner.
- Improved
On Play-installed apps, low credits now steer you to a plan
If you installed BooDoo through Google Play and your credits are running low or have run out, the screen now leads with the monthly plan. A one-off top-up is still offered underneath, and the low-balance link now reads 'See plans' if you don't already have one.
- Fixed
Your app's logo letter now matches its real name
When your first build picks a name for your new app, the logo letter and tab title now update to match it, instead of staying stuck on a placeholder letter from before the name was chosen. If you picked the name yourself, it stays exactly as you set it.
- Fixed
Web-only apps now get a proper name, logo letter and tab title
If your app has no phone app, its tab used to just say 'Your new app' with no icon. It now shows your app's real name, a matching logo letter and its own tab icon, the same as apps that include a phone app.
- Fixed
A plan waiting on your answer no longer says to send it again
When your plan pauses to ask you a question and no answer comes in time, the message now says the plan is waiting for your answer. Before, it wrongly said the plan had run out of time and told you to send your message again.
- Fixed
Pricing page highlights the plan a link names on a laptop
If a pricing link named a plan, a laptop visitor still saw Pro lit up as the plan to buy. The page now highlights the plan the link names, so someone finishing a Starter payment sees Starter.
- New
You now get a reminder before your one-month plan ends
If you are outside India and pay for one month at a time, your workspace now shows a line under the header starting three days before that month ends, telling you the plan will not renew on its own.
- New
Try real examples before asking us to build yours
The Have us build it for you page now shows three real apps from the store that you can open and try before writing to us. Opening one takes you to that app, and coming back brings you straight to the Launch page.
- Improved
Pricing page's credit note now says what you'll actually get
The credits line on the pricing page now says you get credits for every month you pay for. If you pay for one month, you get that month's credits; paying for more months gets you credits for each one.
- Improved
Running low on credits on your phone now warns you first
The phone app now tells you when your credits are getting low, before they run out. If you do run out in the middle of something, it explains what has happened instead of stopping you with no warning.
- Fixed
The low-credits message on your phone now reads correctly
The line showing how many credits you have left used to say '1 credits', and could claim you had 0 left even though you could still send. It now reads correctly in every language, and only says you're out when you actually are.
- Fixed
Your app's address no longer gets stuck on a placeholder page
If your app includes a phone app, its web address now opens straight into the app itself, instead of sometimes showing our 'Your app is being written' page. Apps that also have a full website now get their own real first screen, rather than a page meant only for phone apps.
- New
BooDoo's Google Play listing now reads in Arabic and Urdu
If you're browsing the Play Store in Arabic or Urdu, you can now read about BooDoo in your own language before you decide to install it.
- New
Two new guides: coaching class fees and gym membership apps
We published a guide on building a coaching class app to track fees and attendance, in Hindi, and a guide on building a gym membership app with check-in, in Spanish. Both link a working example app you can try.
- New
BooDoo Launch now reads in ten more languages
The Have us build it for you page is now available in Japanese, Korean, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi, and opens straight in your language if your phone is set to one of these. A phone number typed in Bengali digits is now accepted too.
- New
Demo apps now show a way back to boodoo.ai
When you open a demo from boodoo.ai, a thin bar appears at the top of the app with a link back to where you came from, and a Buy button if it's a store app. You're never left stuck inside a demo with no way out.
- New
BooDoo Launch now opens in Polish, Malay and Ukrainian
If your phone is set to Polish, Malay or Ukrainian, the Have us build it for you page now opens in your own language instead of English, matching the phone app, which already spoke these languages.
- New
A store listing now shows the app's own mark beside its name
Each app in the store now shows its own icon next to its name, instead of plain text alone. The icon lines up neatly with the first line of the name, even when the name runs long.
- New
BooDoo Launch now reads in Odia, Romanian and Czech
If you or your phone is set to Odia, Romanian or Czech, the Have us build it for you page now opens in your own language instead of English.
- New
New guides: real estate CRM, invoicing in Arabic, fitness clubs in Russian
We published three new guides on building apps with BooDoo: a real estate agent CRM app, an invoicing app for freelancers in Arabic, and a fitness club membership app in Russian. Each one links a live example you can try.
- New
BooDoo Launch now reads in eight more languages
The Have us build it for you page is now available in Hungarian, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Greek, Bulgarian and Serbian. If your phone is set to one of these, tapping 'Have us build it for you' now opens the page in your own language instead of English.
- Improved
The app store page shows apps sooner on your phone
On a phone, the three how it works steps above the app grid used to fill the whole screen, so you had to scroll before seeing a single app. Each step now shows as one line, so apps appear straight away.
- Improved
On a phone, the Launch page gets to the point faster
The long list of languages on the Have us build it for you page used to push What you get off the first screen on a phone. The language list now sits at the end of the page, so you see what's on offer straight away.
- Improved
Your first build now costs at most 60 credits if you haven't paid yet
If your workspace has never paid for BooDoo, your very first app build is now capped at 60 credits, so you aren't left with nothing after one build. Paid workspaces are unaffected.
- Fixed
Every sample login in a store demo now opens with one tap
When you try a ready-made app from the store, you can now sign in as any of its sample people with a single tap. Before this, only the first person had that shortcut, and everyone else meant copying an email and password by hand.
- Fixed
Publish now waits until your website is actually ready
Publishing a website can no longer put our holding page online by mistake. The workspace properly checks whether your website's home page has been written before it offers Publish, and while it checks, the button now tells you so.
- Fixed
Closing a store payment window no longer leaves you stuck
If you close the payment window while buying a ready-made app, you're no longer sent straight back to the buy button with no way forward. You can now pay from the order's own payment page instead.
- Fixed
The store's See all link no longer breaks onto two lines
On a phone, the See all link next to a store section heading used to wrap awkwardly into See and all on separate lines. It now stays on one line.
- Fixed
A failed payment now tells you clearly that nothing was charged
If the payment window wouldn't open, broke while loading, or you landed on the finish-your-payment page after an earlier failure, you used to see a dead button or a confusing technical error. Every one of these now tells you plainly that nothing was charged.
- Fixed
A store listing now shows the app's picture before asking you to buy
A store page used to show the price, Buy button and demo logins before any picture of the app itself. A picture now appears right under Buy, and on a phone it loads only the phone-sized picture instead of also fetching the larger desktop one.
- Fixed
Buyers outside India now see plans billed correctly on phone too
If you're outside India, a monthly plan is paid once as a single month, not charged again on its own. Every place this price appears, including the phone app's plan cards and the out-of-credit screen, now says this plainly instead of reading like a recurring card charge.
- Fixed
The front page now only shows example apps that actually work well
Example apps featured on the BooDoo homepage now have to open already signed in, show a real logo, look right on a phone, and link back to boodoo.ai before we feature them. Apps that didn't meet this bar are no longer shown.
- Fixed
Store demos no longer ask for a password
Trying a ready-made app from the store used to ask you to sign in by hand, and the sign-in details were hard to find. Every store demo now opens already signed in, so you can try the app straight away.
- Fixed
The plan you choose on the pricing page stays chosen after you sign in
Tapping a plan like Business used to send everyone through the same sign-in to the same plan page, so your choice could get lost along the way. Your pick is now remembered, shown as 'Your pick', and scrolled into view once you're signed in.
- Fixed
Your plan page now shows the plan you've already paid for
Right after paying for a month, the plan page used to still say you were on Free and offered 'Buy now' as if nothing had been paid, and picking the same plan again showed it as a new choice instead of yours. The plan page, on both phone and web, now marks the plan you've paid for as 'Your plan' straight away.
- Fixed
Your payment confirmation now shows how many credits you got
Right after paying for a month outside India, the confirmation used to just say your credits were in your account, with no number. It now tells you exactly how many credits you received, the same as it already does for renewing plans.
- Fixed
Buyers outside India are no longer shown a yearly plan that can't be paid
A yearly plan needs a recurring card charge, and those almost never go through for buyers outside India. The yearly option is no longer offered on the plan page or in the plan pop-up, so you won't be sent into a payment that was always going to fail.
- Fixed
Phone app no longer offers a yearly plan outside India
If you're paying from outside India, the phone app no longer shows a Yearly option, since those charges almost always fail to go through. If you'd already picked Yearly, it's now priced and bought as a single month instead, the same as on the website.
- Fixed
Older apps now get a picture when you share them too
If your app was published before we added share pictures, sharing its link on WhatsApp or elsewhere could show as a bare link with no title or picture. Shared links now carry a proper preview no matter how long ago your app went live.
- Fixed
New apps no longer open straight to a blank logo screen
Some new phone apps were opening to only their logo, with nothing else to see or use. Builds are now checked for this before they're handed to you, so your app opens to the real thing.
- Fixed
Buying from the store now takes new accounts straight to their app
If you tapped Buy on a store app and had to create an account first, you used to land on a welcome page with no sign of the app or any way to pay. New accounts now land straight on the app you picked, ready to buy.
- New
Have us build it for you now works in Hindi, Portuguese and Spanish
If you tap Have us build it for you in the phone app or on our website, and your phone is set to Hindi, Portuguese or Spanish, you now see that page in your own language instead of English.
- New
Pricing page now offers to build your app for you
The pricing page used to end with only Start building free. It now also offers Have us build it for you, for anyone who would rather not build it themselves.
- New
A way to pay if your payment window closes
If the payment window closes before you finish, or won't open at all, you now get an Open the payment page instead link on the plan page, the out-of-credit prompt and the plan pop-up. Coming back after paying there updates your plan safely, without letting you buy the same plan twice.
- New
New guides: clinic booking and an Arabic restaurant guide
We published a new guide on building a clinic appointment booking app, and a restaurant ordering guide written in Arabic.
- New
Buy a credit pack straight from the pricing page
Credit packs on the pricing page can now be tapped to buy. Whether you already have an account or are signing up for the first time, you land exactly where you need to be to finish the purchase.
- New
Guides now offer to have BooDoo build your app for you
Our guides on salon booking, restaurant orders and clinic appointments now end with an offer to have BooDoo build the app for you, linked to the offer page in your own language.
- New
Ask us to build your app with a form, not just email
On the BooDoo Launch page, you can now ask us to build your app for you by filling in a short form, instead of only being offered an email link. This works whether or not your phone has a mail app set up.
- New
If your first app doesn't finish, we now offer to build it for you
When your very first app build fails and there is no earlier version to fall back on, you are now offered BooDoo Launch, where our team builds it for you instead. This shows on both the website and the phone app, and opens in your own language.
- New
BooDoo Launch now reads in Vietnamese and Thai
The BooDoo Launch page is now available in Vietnamese and Thai, with the same offer as every other language, and it displays in one consistent typeface throughout instead of switching partway through the page.
- New
BooDoo Launch now reads in six more languages
BooDoo Launch is now available in Filipino, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian and Turkish, reading in one consistent typeface throughout. If your phone is set to one of these and you tap 'have us build it', you now land on the page in your own language, not English.
- Improved
The app store now puts its two ways to start right up front
The app store page now shows 'Describe your own app' and 'Have us build it for you' right below the introduction, instead of further down the page. On a phone you no longer need to scroll before you can start.
- Improved
Launch page shows our email address near the top
On the Have us build it for you page, Or write to team@boodoo.ai now sits right under the first button, in every language, so you can copy the address straight away instead of scrolling to the bottom.
- Improved
The front page now shows a real BooDoo app
Next to the promise of a real app, the homepage now shows a picture of an actual booking app built on BooDoo, on its booking screen, instead of a cartoon animation. You can open it to see it working.
- Improved
Pricing page opens with what you get, not our accounting
The pricing page now starts by telling you that every new account starts with free credits and no card is needed, instead of leading with how our credit system works.
- Fixed
The sign-up box on the homepage no longer looks cut off on phones
On a phone, the box where you describe your business used to appear too short, cutting off its own placeholder text right under the main promise on the page. It now shows at full height on phones, matching desktop.
- Fixed
Apps with no fake data no longer include demo logins
If you asked for an app with real information only, no made-up test accounts, your live app could still quietly carry over demo logins meant only for previews. It no longer does.
- Fixed
Page titles across the site are properly sized again
Titles on the app store, its category and app pages, the support pages, the privacy page and the plan picker were rendering at the same size as ordinary text. They now show at their proper, larger size.
- Fixed
Paying by card now shows you're set when you return
If you paid through the browser after running out of credits, the app used to still say you were out of credits when you came back, with the buy button still showing, tempting you to pay twice. It now checks your balance as soon as you return and shows you're set once the payment has gone through.
- Fixed
Signing in no longer wrongly says your app is broken
Some owners were being locked out and told their app's login wasn't working, when the real problem was on our side. Signing in now quietly puts things right first, so you get straight in instead of seeing a false error.
- Fixed
The app store's welcome line now reads properly
The introduction on the app store page used to read as a broken half-sentence. It now reads as a proper sentence.
- Fixed
The front page no longer links to demo apps that are down
The home page used to point at a few example apps to show what BooDoo can build, but some of those addresses had stopped working. It no longer links to examples that are not live.
- Fixed
Front page text about live example apps is now accurate
The home page used to say See one apps built on it when only one example was live, and could claim many were running when none were. It now reads correctly however many examples are live, and says nothing when there are none.
- Fixed
Helper text on the plan and coupon screens is easier to read
Small helper lines, such as the note under your plan being set up and the coupon hints, were showing in full black instead of a lighter grey. They now show correctly.
- Fixed
Choosing a plan from the pricing page now takes you to pay
Tapping Start with Pro, Starter or Business used to send signed-in customers to their projects list, with no sign of the plan they picked. It now takes you straight to the plan page to complete your purchase.
- Fixed
French Launch page now reads correctly
The French Have us build it for you page used to read as if we build your whole business. It now clearly says we build the app for you, and every apostrophe and space on the page reads the way French is meant to.
- Fixed
The pricing page now shows your own currency
The pricing page used to guess your currency and could show you dollars or euros even though you would actually be charged in your own money. It now shows the same currency you will be charged at checkout.
- Fixed
Buy right away after switching tabs during payment
If you closed the payment window to check WhatsApp and came back, the Buy button used to grey out for a few seconds with a 'Checking your payment' message, even though you had not paid yet. You can now tap Buy straight away.
- Fixed
Free credits wording now matches when you actually get them
The pricing and terms pages said every new account starts with free credits. They now say credits arrive once you confirm your account, by email or Google, and only once per person, matching what actually happens.
- Fixed
Buying a store app now confirms even if payment is slow
If your top-up for a ready-made app took a little longer to confirm, you could keep seeing 'Add credits' even after paying. The app now checks again a bit later, so you see 'Finish buying' once your payment has gone through.
- Fixed
Credit pack payments that fail on your phone can finish in your browser
If paying for a credit pack does not go through on your phone, you can now finish the payment in your browser instead.
- Fixed
Buyers outside India can now get past the phone number step
If you are paying from outside India, you now give your phone number on our own screen before checkout starts, instead of getting stuck on a payment step built for Indian numbers. Most of these payments could not even begin before; now they can.
- Fixed
Example apps on our homepage now stay online reliably
The example apps linked from the BooDoo homepage had been going down and staying down for days at a time. They now come back on their own, so the demos on our homepage work when you visit them.
- Fixed
Launch enquiry form now accepts Arabic and Hindi digits
If you typed your phone number using Arabic-Indic or Devanagari digits, such as ٠١٢ or ०१२, on the BooDoo Launch form, it was wrongly rejected. It is now accepted correctly, so your enquiry sends the first time.
- Fixed
Shop and booking apps now reliably get connected to a real server
If your first build was a bigger app, such as one that tracks orders, bookings, or more than one type of user, it now gets connected to a real server after building, even when that build needed extra time. Apps that had already gone live without this connection have been fixed too, so orders and bookings are saved properly.
- Fixed
Pricing page settles on your currency straight away
If you're outside India, the pricing page used to flash rupees, then dollars, then your own currency. It now goes straight to what you'll actually be charged, and if you tap a currency yourself, it stays chosen even if your country is detected a moment later.
- Fixed
Launch form no longer wrongly rejects your enquiry
Leaving your name or business field with just a space, or writing a long note together with an unusual phone number, used to get your Launch enquiry refused. Both now go through properly.
- Fixed
Pay stays held while we check your payment went through
If you pay for BooDoo in your browser and come back to the phone app, Pay now shows 'Checking…' and stays off for a few seconds while we confirm your payment, so you can't accidentally pay twice. If it went through, you'll see 'Payment received'.
- New
Buy ready-made apps from the store with your credits
Apps in the ready-made store can now be bought using your credits, not just browsed. Before this, there was no way to pay for a ready-made app at all.
- New
A new readymade app in the store every day
The readymade app store now gets a new, ready-to-use app every day, built around a real business or startup idea, so there is fresh choice each time you look, with no duplicates.
- New
After your app builds, you're offered to put it live
When a build finishes, you now see a card that offers to publish your app, not just a button at the top of the screen. It won't offer to publish a build that changed nothing, and it always matches the project you're looking at, even after you switch projects.
- New
Get an address suggestion even for names not in English
If you name your app in Hindi, Arabic, Russian or Greek, BooDoo now suggests a web address spelled the way it sounds, such as saloni-byuti or souvlaki. You can still change it yourself.
- New
New guide: a Bolt.new alternative for your business app
We published a guide comparing BooDoo to Bolt.new for building a small business app, now available in English and German.
- New
A quiet 'Made with BooDoo' link on your order confirmation
When someone finishes booking or ordering through your app, the confirmation screen now carries a small line: 'Made with BooDoo · Make one like this', linking anyone who sees it to build their own app.
- New
Ask BooDoo to build your app for you
The BooDoo homepage now offers BooDoo Launch: tell us what your business needs by email, answer three quick questions, and our team builds the app for you.
- New
Control 'Let others start from my app' from your phone
Your phone app's settings now have a switch called 'Let others start from my app', the same one already on the website. It stays off and greyed out until your app is live, and only you or an admin can see and change it.
- Improved
Buying a readymade app from the store is simpler
The store page and your workspace now share one buy button: see the price in credits, top up if you're short, and finish in one tap. Once your app is ready, you land straight on it with a suggested first change to make.
- Improved
Going live now asks for your app's name first
When you first publish, the dialog now shows your app's name above its address. Typing a name updates the address to match it, until you change the address yourself. If you clear the name, a note tells you to give your app a name before you can go live.
- Fixed
Buyers outside India no longer get a rupee payment screen they can't use
If someone paying you is outside India, checkout no longer falls back to a rupee price that only Indian UPI or bank accounts can pay. Those payments were failing every time; now they see a price they can actually pay with.
- Fixed
Removed a wrong warning about disappearing data
New apps that already save what people type on their own device used to still show a message warning that the data disappears when people leave. That message is gone for those apps now.
- Fixed
Sharing your app now includes its picture
When you shared your app, the link often went out as text only because the picture failed to load properly. The picture now goes out every time, and Download picture saves it to your device instead of leaving the app builder.
- Fixed
The note about where your data is kept is now accurate
The message next to a new app that says what people type stays on the phone or computer they used now only shows for apps that actually work that way. Older apps that don't keep any records no longer make this claim.
- Fixed
Keep it online won't start a second build by mistake
Tapping Keep it online while a build was already running could start a second build by mistake, wasting credits. The button now stays locked until its own build finishes, and if it's waiting behind another build, the bar says "Up next" instead of wrongly saying the build is happening right now.
- Fixed
Your new app gets a sensible name
New apps no longer pick up stray words from your instructions, so a prompt like "the product described in this document" no longer names your app "Cirrus Described". Names typed in Persian, Telugu and Kannada now come out correctly, and plain names like "Online Store" are kept instead of being swapped for something random.
- Fixed
The phone app's message about your data is now accurate
The connect card wrongly said anything people type disappears when you close your app. It now explains that orders, customers and bookings you receive don't reach you yet, and shows how to fix that. The button for turning this on now reads 'Keep it online', to match the website, in every language, including proper polite wording in Bengali, Tamil and Telugu.
- Fixed
First builds keep their honest note about missing features
When your first app can't yet do something you asked for, such as real payments or real AI, it now says so right on the page. A later tidy-up step used to quietly remove that honest note; it no longer does.
- Fixed
Your phone's 'put it live' reminder now plays fair
The one-time nudge to publish your app no longer gets used up by a build that changed nothing. It can also come back once after a later build, the same as on the website, and it's no longer marked as seen if it appeared while you were on a different tab.
- Fixed
The 'Make one like this' page now shows your app properly
The app card no longer crops off the header that says what the app is, and names in Arabic and similar scripts now read in the right direction. Apps without a set name show their address instead of a broken-looking link, and long addresses wrap neatly on phones.
- Fixed
The 'Make one like this' badge link now works
Tapping the badge on someone's live app used to lead nowhere. It now takes you straight to that app's own page, where you can make one like it.
- Fixed
Your app's front page now shows what it actually does
For phone and game apps, the check that makes sure your app's front page matches what's inside was being skipped. Some apps led with a stock photo instead of their own pictures, or showed a play button that wasn't really there. That check now runs, so the front page matches your real app.
- Fixed
Failed builds caused by us are now retried automatically, free
If your app failed to build because of a problem on our end, you no longer have to wait for our team to notice and fix it by hand. It's retried automatically, at no cost to you.
654 other changes — 213 to how apps are built, 160 to the platform, 59 to the machines it runs on, 222 elsewhere. Nothing you would see.
